The Rawson Landscaping Project

Another beautiful custom home on Bayou Texar, is all we needed to get us motivated and excited to have the chance to make this project "Something Special". This particular customer knows what they want, we just need to get a design completed, and make this happen. The first obstacle was the elevation issues from front to the water. We manufactured a Keystone retaining wall to hold up the side of the house and also the fabulous gunite salt water pool. The next decision was choosing something that compliments the pool, Travertine was the answer.

Travertine was used for the pool deck, stairs and pool coping. Raised planter beds, with lush landscape, were also incorporated on the pool deck, to help soften the hard elements. The customer did not want a typical concrete drive, so concrete pavers were the answer. We selected Tremron Mega Olde Towne 60 mm pavers in the color Sand Dune, for their durability, and incredible value. With a vast selection of large trees for privacy, and a pleasing, blooming array of plantings, this makes this project come to life. A custom irrigation system helps solve any watering issues, and a sophisticated drainage system makes this landscape thrive.
